2025 Texas Children's Houston Open tee times, TV coverage, viewer's guide

Germany's Stephan Jäger will be back to defend his 2024 Texas Children's Houston Open title, but he’ll have to take down the top two golfers in the world if he wants to go back-to-back.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and recent Players champ Rory McIlroy will both make the trip to Memorial Park for the start of the PGA Tour's two-week Texas swing. This will be McIlroy’s first event since his $4.5 million victory at TPC Sawgrass and Scheffler’s chance for redemption after finishing runner-up to Jäger a year ago. The Texan’s second-place finish was the only tournament in a five-event span in early 2024 that he didn’t win, including the 2024 Players and Masters. They’ll be joined by top-25 talents Wyndham Clark, Maverick McNealy, Sahith Theegala, Sungjae Im and Aaron Rai. J.J. Spaun will also compete for the first time since his backbreaking Monday playoff performance at TPC Sawgrass.

Memorial Park is a beloved municipal course has been around since 1912. Tom Doak led a multimillion-dollar renovation for the Houston mainstay back in 2019, which got the course back onto the PGA Tour schedule.

This week's winner will receive a $1.71 million cut of the $9.5 million purse and 500 FedEx Cup points.

TV Schedule

Golf Channel will carry live coverage on Thursday and Friday from 4-7 p.m. ET. On Saturday and Sunday, Golf Channel will air coverage from 1-3 p.m. with NBC and Peacock taking over from 3-6 p.m.

Streaming Schedule

PGA Tour Live streaming coverage will occur on ESPN+ from 8:15 a.m.-7 p.m. from Thursday and Friday and from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Four different channels will be offering coverage: a main feed, featured groups, marquee groups and featured holes (Nos. 2, 9, 15 and 17).
