On Sunday, Stephan Jaeger claimed his first PGA Tour victory, outlasting Scottie Scheffler—the hottest golfer on the planet not named Nelly Korda—in his home state. Waiting for Jaeger in the winner’s circle were his wife, 16-month-old son Harrison and good buddy Joel Dahmen, shouting “Jaeger bomb!” at the top of his lungs of course.
This is exactly what friends are for. They’re there to pick you up when you’re down and make total fools of themselves at all other times. In all seriousness, though, Dahmen has had struggles on and off the course of late, so it’s great to see him genuinely pumped for the success of his buddy.
There’s been no word if any actual Jager bombs were consumed following Jaeger’s big win, but we’re guessing at least one or two had to go down. Which brings us to the other thing friends are good for:
