SPOTTED: Anthony Kim. At a Dallas pet store.
It has been exactly four years since Anthony Kim teed it up in a PGA Tour event, but on Saturday he emerged in public again. Well, in a Dallas pet store.
The latest sighting of the fallen star comes from Dr. Brian Mann, whose friend, CBS Sports' Kyle Porter, helped spread this photo on Twitter:
We're not sure what Kim was doing at the pet store, but we do know he's a three-time PGA Tour winner and that he was a key member of the 2008 U.S. Ryder Cup victory when he was only 23. A series of injuries derailed his career, and it's been reported that a large insurance payout is part of the reason why he hasn't returned to competitive golf since his appearance at the 2012 Wells Fargo Championship.
Kim did his first interview since that tournament in September with the AP's Doug Ferguson. In it, Kim, who turns 31 next month, said he spends much of his free-time rehabbing and that he hasn't physically been able to play much golf.
It also looks like Kim has added some tattoos -- and a lot more hair -- since his playing days. In any matter, it's good to see AK smiling. And hopefully, the next sighting comes on a golf course.
