Solheim Cup 2026: How to watch on TV, streaming all the action from the Netherlands

Team match-play season got off to a fantastic start with a dramatic comeback victory by Great Britain & Ireland at the Walker Cup. Now the women’s pro game takes the spotlight as the 20th Solheim Cup begins this coming weekend at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands.

There are ample storylines building as the 12-player U.S. and European teams get acclimated to the course, which is hosting the event for the first time. The U.S., led by captain Angela Stanford, is trying to win on the road for the first time since 2015. With Anna Nordqvist at the helm, Europe is trying to avenge its 15½-12½ loss two years ago at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia.

Golf fans should be excited that the Solheim Cup is a three-day affair, with double sessions on Friday and Saturday before going to singles play on Sunday. Being in Europe means American viewers will be needing to get up a little early to take in all the action. The good news is there is plenty of coverage to enjoy.

How many points are needed to win the Solheim Cup?

There are 28 matches (28 points) available over three days of competition. A team needs to win 14½ points to win the Cup. If the match ends in a 14-14 tie, the defending champion retains the Cup. In this case the U.S. side thanks to its win in 2024. The U.S. leads the all-time series, 11-7-1.
