Rory McIlroy and Niall Horan party with Conor McGregor after his UFC 202 win

August 21, 2016

Earlier this month, Rory McIlroy was heckled on Twitter by two Irish Olympic boxers. It seems he has no beef, however, with the country's most famous fighter.

Conor McGregor defeated Nate Diaz in Saturday night's much-anticipated UFC 202 showdown and afterward, the four-time major champ joined him at Las Vegas' Intrigue Nightclub to celebrate. Another buddy, Niall Horan, was also there making it quite the threesome of Irish celebrities.

We have no clue who the fourth guy is, but that's one for the scrapbook.

You may remember McIlroy is a big fighting fan. At the 2015 WGC-Match Play, he planned on flying to Vegas to see the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao bout, but a string of victories (he wound up winning the event) and a late tee time left him having to settle on watching in the media center.

We're going to assume the Saturday night scene in Vegas was a bit more fun that partying with the press.
