Rickie Fowler shows off his new, Olympic-inspired tattoo

September 15, 2016

Rickie Fowler is known for being one of the more edgy PGA Tour pros out there. That's not really hard, because, hey, most tour pros aren't exactly what you'd call "edgy."

The 26-year-old has a tattoo for his grandfather, famously was reprimanded at Augusta National for wearing his hat backward, and is a former motocross competitor.

It looks like Rickie picked up another tattoo recently -- as shared by fellow U.S. Olympian Sam Dorman, who won a silver medal in diving this year.

We knew Rickie was all about Rio de Janeiro this year, as evidenced by him hanging out with other athletes and attending other sports while in Rio. The guy even got a special haircut for the Games. This, though, is the ultimate way to show your Olympic pride.

Strong move, Rickie. Now though, if you qualify for the 2020 U.S. Olympic team, what's your next move? Or how about a U.S. Ryder Cup tattoo? Maybe get Davis Love III's face tattooed on the other forearm if the U.S. beats the Europeans at Hazeltine? We'd assume no ink is off the table at this point.
