Players 2026 tee times: Pairings for the final round at TPC Sawgrass

PONTE VEDRA BEACH — The week started with 123 players—47 of the top 50 players in the world—competing at TPC Sawgrass and now, after three days, 73 men will play the final round of the Players Championship with only a handful remaining with a chance to win.

A year ago, it was Rory McIlroy picking up his second Players title with a Monday playoff win over J.J. Spaun. He, along with World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler both made the cut this week but are well off the pace. Scheffler shot 67 on Saturday and is tied for 26th place. McIlroy shot 72 and is tied for 57th.

They're all chasing Ludvig Aberg, the 26-year-old Swede who bogeyed the final hole Saturday to shoot 71 but still holds a three-shot lead over Michael Thorbjornsen. Cameron Young made double bogey on the final hole and is four shots back. Six players, including Justin Thomas, Viktor Hovland and Xander Schauffele are tied for fourth place, five shots behind.

"I think anything that wasn't like yesterday was going to be a slower start," Aberg said. "Overall, started the day with a two-shot lead and have a three-shot lead. So that's a good thing."

Takumi Kanaya will be off solo early Sunday morning at 7:35 a.m. ET as he shot 81 on Saturday. Other pairings of note are Jordan Spieth/Rickie Fowler (8:25 a.m.), Scottie Scheffler/Maverick McNealy (11:35 a.m.), Brooks Koepka/Keegan Bradley (11:55 a.m.) and the last two before the final pairing—Viktor Hovland/Brian Harman (1:20 p.m.) and Cameron Young/Matt Fitzpatrick (1:30 p.m.). Thomas made triple-bogey 7 on the sixth hole to drop back but made three birdies on the back side to shoot 72. He'll play with Corey Conners starting at 1:10 p.m.
