PGA Championship picks 2026: Our 13 best bets to win at Aronimink Golf Club

Men's major No. 2 is here at the PGA Championship and once again it will feature arguably golf's No. 1 showman Michael Block. The PGA Head Professional at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in California is one of 20 club pros in the field at Aronimink. But while that group makes for some of the week's best stories, this ranking focuses on those with the best chance of hoisting that Wanamaker Trophy.

With Aronimink hosting this event for the second time ever and the first since Gary Player's win in 1962, there's not much history to go on. However, the PGA Tour has visited the Pennsylvania track three times since 2010, lastly at the 2018 BMW Championship. Anyway, we've factored all that in and come up with a rundown of our top picks (with odds via DraftKings) to win "Glory's Last Shot" "Ths is Major" the PGA Championship.

1. Matt Fitzpatrick (20/1)

Reason to pick: The World No. 3 has won three of his past four PGA Tour starts. The fact that you can still get him at this number is downright disrespectful.

Cause for concern: If the PGA of America does any karaoke like it did during the Ryder Cup. Both Matt and his brother seem very uncomfortable with that mic in their hands.

2. Xander Schauffele (16/1)

Reason to pick: Four consecutive top-12 finishes indicates he's close to returning to the form that saw him win this event in 2024.

Cause for concern: His play around the green, where he's losing strokes for the season, has been uncharacteristically sloppy.

3. Cameron Young (16/1)

Reason to pick: It's already been a career year for Young with victories at the Players and Doral, and a close call at the Masters. Winning a major is the next logical step.

Cause for concern: Maybe if there's not a church conveniently located? Struggling to think of anything else for this guy who has been firing on all cylinders this year.

4. Tommy Fleetwood (25/1)

Reason to pick: If you had been told you could wager on Tommy Fleetwood in this event at this number after last year's FedEx Cup, you would have run to the betting window.

Cause for concern: He's still never won a PGA Tour event with a field of more than 30 players.

5. Rory McIlroy (6.5/1)

Reason to pick: He's Rory F-ing McIlroy, the two-time defending Masters champion and the only player in the field with the chance of pulling off the calendar Grand Slam this year.

Cause for concern: We haven't seen him in action since slipping the green jacket on for a second time. Well, if you don't count his cameo in "The Devil Wears Prada 2."

6. Scottie Scheffler (3.5/1)

Reason to pick: The World No. 1 has finished runner-up in three consecutive events and won this event by five shots last year.

Cause for concern: He also got arrested in the middle of this event the year before.

7. Justin Rose (35/1)

Reason to pick: Had a two-shot lead on the back nine on Sunday at the Masters and has great vibes at Aronomink, where he won the 2010 AT&T National.

Cause for concern: Despite all the good golf he's played in the past couple years, Rose switched equipment. And to a new player in the golf club industry, McLaren. And his first week using those new irons at Doral didn't go well.

8. Bryson DeChambeau (10/1)

Reason to pick: He's won two LIV events in 2026 and he's been the runner-up in this event each of the past two years.

Cause for concern: Aronimink doesn't quite fit the same profile as those past two PGA sites. Plus, he's been dealing with a lot around his future with all the recent LIV news.
