In the wake of all the Scottie Scheffler chaos on Friday morning, Golf Twitter stepped up like perhaps never before. In addition to the #FreeScottie movement, it's just one tweet after another that would have Kenny Bania saying, "That's gold, Jerry! Gold!"

Of course, at the heart of the matter are some pretty serious charges against the World No. 1. Charges that were further explained in the official police report. We certainly don't want to make light of the situation, but even Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists like Don Van Natta Jr. couldn't help but notice one part in particular:

But it was another small detail that fellow bearded PGA Tour pro Mark Hubbard noticed. That would be Scottie Scheffler's weight. And before the surprising PGA Championship contender teed off for his second round on Friday morning, he pointed it out:

Yeah, that doesn't seem physically possible. For the record, the PGA Tour's site lists Scheffler at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds. It lists Hubbard at 6-foot, 175 pounds. So don't sweat it, Mark. You sound pretty healthy to us.

But the Hubbard family wasn't done. Hubbard's brother tweeted this about the two driving to the course together.

Now that's brotherly love. In any event, Hubbard got to his tee time without any incidents and a quick start has the 81st-ranked player in the world in solo second place (and climbing) behind Xander Schauffele at the time of this post.
