All kidding aside, that looked like a decent chip out of that juicy rough at Castle Pines, which could explain why he had do go down and get it. Really CHOPPED at it. But man if that wasn't ugly as sin. No offense, Peyt.
Oddly enough, this motion kind of goes right in line with his whole career. Sometimes ugly, but always effective. What Peyton lacked in physical attributes he made up for with his tireless preparation and film study. He beat the competition with his brain, especially toward the end of his career when the bumps and bruises began to pile up. But even The Sherriff's most wobbly balls were prettier than whatever that herky-jerky chip was. Again, though, effective shot. Considering he's sporting a single digit handicap these days, it's obviously working for him.
