Niall Horan's golf swing is actually pretty good
Niall Horan has been popping up in the golf world a lot over the past year. He was Rory McIlroy’s caddie in the Par 3 contest at the Masters last spring, he’s starting a sports management company called Modest Golf Management, he and his One Direction mates have been photographed on numerous golf courses, and earlier this week, he announced that he’s going to play with Justin Rose in the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am at Wentworth in May.
From the looks of things on his Instagram, he’s already getting some practice in.
We weren’t surprised to see a swing video on Horan’s Instagram, but we will admit we were a bit surprised to see a pretty good swing video. His swing is smooth, relatively compact, and the tempo is solid. If we were being picky, we’d like to see a little more turning and a little less swaying.
But overall, it looks like it’ll be serviceable in that pro-am later this summer.
