These Guys Are Good
Min Woo Lee's planned three-hole practice with Collin Morikawa turned into the round of his life
What does a PGA Tour pro do during an off day? For Min Woo Lee, Thursday still involved, well, golf.
First, the 25-year-old Aussie shared that he was watching coverage of his big sister, Minjee, at the U.S. Women's Open:
And then, according to Collin Morikawa, he wanted to play three holes. So just some light work at his home course in Las Vegas, The Summit Club. But then something funny happened.
The man affectionately known by golf fans as The Chef started cooking. And we mean COOKING. Lee birdied the first hole. He birdied the second hole. And then he eagled the third hole. And, naturally, he had to keep going.
Sadly, the "59 Watch" didn't quite come to fruition, but Lee was still happy to post a personal-best score of 61:
And Morikawa attested the low round:
Congrats, Min Woo. It's just the latest reminder that these guys are good. Even on their days off.
