2024 Mexico Open at Vidanta tee times, TV coverage, viewer's guide

After finishing second at the Mexico Open in 2022, Tony Finau one-upped himself when he returned a year later, winning the event for his sixth career PGA Tour win. He can’t go any higher this week, so a championship defense will have to do.

Finau bested Jon Rahm by three shots last year at Vidanta Vallart. While Rahm won’t be back, having left for LIV, there’ll still be a strong and diverse field looking to take down the American. European Ryder Cuppers Nicolai Højgaard and Robert MacIntyre will tee off in Mexico this week, along with Emiliano Grillo, Ryan Fox, Thorbjørn Olesen and Mackenzie Hughes. Also competing is Chile’s Cristobal Del Solar, fresh off shooting a 57 at the Korn Ferry Tour’s Astara Golf Championship and hoping to keep the good play going. And playing on a sponsor's exemption is Mexico's Santiago De la Fuente, a senior at the University of Houston and the winner of last month's Latin America Amateur Championship, which earned him starts at this year’s Masters, U.S. Open and the Open Championship at Royal Troon.

Back for a moment to Finau: the top-ranked player in the field (24th in the Official World Golf Ranking) hasn’t missed a cut this season and comes off a T-19 at The Genesis Invitational. His best finish to date in 2024 is a T-6 at the Farmers Insurance Open.

The winner will receive 500 FedEx Cup points and a $1.458 million share of the $8.1 million purse.

TV Schedule

Golf Channel will carry live coverage on Thursday and Friday from 4-7 p.m. EST. On Saturday and Sunday, Golf Channel will start the coverage from 1-3 p.m. with NBC taking over with afternoon coverage from 3-6 p.m.

Steaming Schedule

PGA Tour Live streaming coverage takes place on ESPN+ from 9:15 a.m.-7 p.m. EST on Thursday and Friday and from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. This week's coverage includes the main feed, marquee groups, featured groups, featured hole and a Spanish-language feed.
