Masters 2026: PGA Tour wife shares 'Life comes at you quick' post with husband not in the field at Augusta National

    April 09, 2026
    Save for later

As we've been reminded so many times through the years, the margins at the top of pro golf are razor thin. One week you're contending on the PGA Tour and the next you're battling just to keep your tour card. And for player spouses, the swings can be just as dramatic.

That leads us to Jessica Hadwin, one of our favorites at The Loop through the years and one of the best follows on Golf Twitter. Jessica, of course, is the wife of Adam Hadwin, the Canadian golfer who won the 2017 Valspar Championship and was a regular face on the PGA Tour for a decade before losing his card last season.

Adam has split time between the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour this year, finishing runner-up in his first KFT start in January. It was also that month that Jessica, a nurse practitioner, announced she was going back to work—and worked in a funny Brooks Koepka-PGA Tour reference.

Flash forward to Masters Thursday and Jessica couldn't help but be reminded of previous trips to Augusta National when she wore a pair of "cute little Masters pants." To her current job.

"One minute you’re wearing your cute little Masters pants to watch your man play, the next you’re wearing them to your 9-5. Life comes at you quick my friends!* *I’m happy to wear them to both and this is a joke but based on a true story."

Well said, Jessica. As always. Adam has qualified for four Masters, most recently in 2024.

Anyway, we wish Jessica a good day at work. And we'll keep our fingers crossed the Hadwins are back at Augusta National next year.
