Masters 2025: Akshay Bhatia's magnolia shirt is the star of Masters scripting so far
Like it or not, the perennial Masters Week tradition of seeing what kind of apparel Masters competitors will wear never disappoints. You might not be a style person, but clothing companies always seem to come up with something new to capture the attention of all golf fans.
Early in the week, TravisMathew and Akshay Bhatia have delivered. Bhatia—making his second Masters appearance after making the cut as a debutant last year—will be wearing an actual flower on his shirt. OK, a literal flower won’t be affixed to his clothing … but the pattern is very well coordinated to Augusta National.
TravisMathew is calling the shirt the Featherweight Magnolia polo, and just like the azaleas in Augusta, this flower looks like it’s in full bloom.
Bhatia has become one of the most fashion-forward stars in the game, and he’ll continue to push the envelope with this shirt that he's scheduled to wear on Friday.
