LPGA Tour players continue to share statement about Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade

In the days following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, revoking the constitutional right to an abortion, numerous LPGA Tour players have made statements on social media. More than 15 current and former players have shared an identical message on Instagram and Twitter, saying the ruling was a "monumental step backwards in women’s rights history."

It ends with this call to action: “Let’s work together to help all women get the health care they need.”

As of midday Wednesday, the players who joined in posting the statement were: Michelle Wie West, Brittany Lincicome, Mel Reid, Marina Alex, Lily He, Alison Lee, Bronte Law, Suzann Pettersen, Alison Walshe, Pat Hurst, Karrie Webb, Kay Cockerill, Mariah Stackhouse, Charlotte Thomas, Meg Mallon, Lydia Ko and Albane Valenzuela.
