If it were any other event or any other player, the scene at the Travelers Championship would have been positively funereal as Tommy Fleetwood once again came up agonizingly short in his quest for his first PGA Tour win. But this was Keegan Bradley on his home turf rolling in a walk-off birdie putt to a cacophony of roars and chants of "USA, USA!!!!" For the American Ryder Cup captain.

“That one right there,” Bradley said when asked what shot he’ll remember from the final round. “Of all the shots and all the putts I hit, I think I’ll remember that one the most.”

Not that there weren’t other memorable moments. Chasing Fleetwood from the start, Bradley dropped a 16-footer for birdie on No. 2, then a 64-foot bomb (projected success rate: 2 percent) on No. 9. A 37-footer on No. 15 inched him closer. Standing a shot down playing 18, Bradley watched Fleetwood three-putt for bogey before rolling in a six-footer for the win, the putt set up by a staked 9-iron approach.

The Ai-One comes in an array of traditional and non-traditional shapes, including the iconic 2-Ball and popular Jailbird and even one that combines the two. The secret, though, is the asymmetrical thickness pattern on the face. Designers used AI and machine learning to explore more than 2,000 design versions to develop the face insert’s asymmetrical thickness pattern to improve off-center speed and roll for greater consistency. The urethane coating over the soft-aluminum face insert matches that of the company’s highly favored White Hot material for soft feel. A new “Silver Series” finish joins the previously released dark-blue aesthetic. Head shapes developed with tour-player input and prototypes created with 3-D printing accelerated the turnaround time from months to weeks. Heel and toe sole weights allow the head weight to better align with shaft length and a player’s stroke type. A longer and heavier “Cruiser” version is available for those looking to reduce hand action during their strokes. Top 5 in Performance, middle-handicaps Models: 24 Slant, 2-Ball, 2-Ball Jailbird, Jailbird Mini, Rossie DB/S, Seven CH/S, Wing Back DB. Head weights: 360, 365, 380. Lengths: 33, 34, 35, 38 inches. Loft: 3 degrees

Bradley converted those putts (and 22 birdies, the most in the field) using an Odyssey Ai One Cruiser Jailbird mid-length mallet, a club designed to improve alignment as well as distance control. For the week Bradley ranked third in strokes gained/putting as well as in feet of putts made, averaging just under 100 feet per round.

For the week Bradley ranked 11th in strokes gained/approach as well as in greens in regulation. Bradley uses a split set of irons with the more forgiving Srixon ZX5 MK II model in his 4- and 5-irons and the blade-like ZX7 Mk II in his 6- through 9-irons as well as a muscleback-blade like pitching wedge which helps Bradley flight the ball down with more control on shorter approach shots.

Kinda like the one he hit into the 72nd hole.
