Justin Thomas throws down the gauntlet with Kevin Kisner over Alabama-Georgia college football title game

There is no shortage of interested parties on the PGA Tour regarding Monday night’s college football title game between SEC rivals Alabama and Georgia. Reigning tour player of the year Justin Thomas won a NCAA title while playing golf for the Crimson Tide in 2013, and he has grown close to Bama football coach Nick Saban.

Conversely, there are more than a handful of Bulldog alums on the PGA Tour, including a few that are playing alongside Thomas this past week at the Sentry Tournament of Champions: Brian Harman, Hudson Swafford, Russell Henley and Kevin Kisner.

Not surprisingly then, there might be a little wager placed on the game among the rivals. JT went public with his challenge of Kisner:

All things considered, it’s not the most embarrassing wager that the two sides could offer up. We can only hope that jersey exchange means having to wear it at a PGA Tour event.
