Justin Thomas just passed this impressive career money milestone

Justin Thomas didn’t take home the American Express trophy Sunday—he finished in solo second place, two behind winner Sepp Straka—but he did move up and into elite company on one all-time PGA Tour list.
Thomas earned $959,200 for his 23-under-par performance in Palm Springs, Calif., which pushed him well over the $60-million mark in career earnings. He now checks in at $60,827,898, surpassing Matt Kuchar for 12th place on the tour’s career money list. Kuchar is at $60,335,682.
Jason Day is at 11th on the list, ahead of Thomas, but he tied for third place at the American Express and earned $519,200. He’s at $61,731,563 in career money. Jordan Spieth is 10th.
Thomas has won 15 times on the PGA Tour, including two major championships. His last victory was the 2022 PGA Championship in Oklahoma, where he topped Will Zalatoris in a playoff.
Tiger Woods still tops the overall list at $120,999,166. Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson and Scottie Scheffler round out the top five.
