Johnson Wagner goes knee deep in a water hazard for his most absurd 're-creation' yet
The Presidents Cup is not a "major," but it certainly feels like one now that Johnson Wagner has arrived on site and begun re-creating shots.
Normally, though, Wagner will re-create a shot players from the U.S. and International teams might actually face this week at Royal Montreal. But on Monday, Wagner re-created an iconic shot from Presidents Cup past that we are unlikely to see again in the biennial team event.
Oh yes, that's right, he re-created the Woody Austin shot from the 2007 Presidents Cup. You know the one:
Ummm ... where is the fall? Either commit to the bit or don't, Johnson. FRAUD!
Just kidding (sort of). We didn't actually expect him to fall in face first like Woody did, and we're sure the folks at the Golf Channel didn't expect him to, either. But honestly, would you have been surprised? The man has become a true showman, even when he's got a wicked case of the chipping yips. Emmy this man already (incredible tweet below):
