John Daly disappears into desert penalty area after bellyflop, compares it to an episode of 'Jackass'

The golf world nearly lost John Daly on Sunday. And not how anyone would have expected.
The PGA Tour Champions star was playing in the Cologuard Classic when he found a native area at Tucson's La Paloma Country Club. Moments later, he needed to be found after briefly disappearing into the desert.
Check out the wild highlight that Daly shared on Sunday night with the caption, "On today's episode of Jacka**:"
Wild stuff! As you can see, the two-time major champ loses his footing and does a full bellyflop, sliding down the hill and out of sight. Daly credited musicisian Joel Cooley for being a "true buddy sliding into save."
Impressively, Daly hit what looked to be a solid shot before losing his balance. And he still shot 68 to finish T-29 in the event won by Steven Alker in a playoff over Padraig Harrington.
Anyway, we're glad to hear the 59-year-old was OK and cracking jokes about it. And to everyone out there, be careful in those native areas.
