Japan Golf Tour reportedly suspends play in ANA Open over North Korea missile launch
The Japan Golf Tour apparently suspended second-round play at the ANA Open in Sapporo on Friday after North Korea launched a ballistic missile over Japan.
Matt Griffin, an Australian playing on the Japan Golf Tour, posted this Tweet:
“The Japanese government said a ballistic missile launched from North Korea has flown over Japan and landed in the Pacific Ocean, according to NHK,” Fox News reported. “Residents of Japan are being asked to avoid anything that could possibly be missile debris.”
