It's official: John Daly to join PGA Tour Champions in May

John Daly has been one of golf's fan favorites since winning the 1991 PGA Championship at Crooked Stick. Now, JD is taking his act to another stage:
The senior circuit.
On Monday, the Champions Tour PGA Tour Champions officially announced Daly's 2016 debut:
Given he turns 50 on April 28, Long John isn't wasting any time. The Insperity Invitational, which will be played May 6-8 at The Woodlands G.C. in Texas, is the first PGA Tour Champions event Daly is eligible to compete in.
Daly, who also won the 1995 British Open, owns five official career victories on the PGA Tour.
