Masters week is days away, and we still don't know Tiger Woods' playing status for the 2016 tournament.

Reason and logic dictate Woods, who hasn't played since August, won't be teeing it up at Augusta National. However, since the 14-time major winner hasn't officially withdrawn from the tournament, speculation, rumors and #HotTakes are rampant on social media.

For example, here's ESPN's Bob Harig's observation:

And CBS broadcaster Jim Nantz provided the following on a conference call:

Also, my friend's cousin's boyfriend's sister said she saw Tiger driving close to a driving range a week ago, so clearly he's prepping for his fifth green jacket.

For what it's worth, some Las Vegas and offshore sports books are starting to take Woods off their betting boards. A few gaming houses, most notably, The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, still have Woods as an option at 80/1. But the notion that sports books -- not an altruistic crowd, those sports books -- see it as unfair to keep Woods available illustrates the sharps' outlook on the Masters.

Given his past -- Woods and his team are notorious for Friday afternoon news dumps -- we should hear from Tiger sometime tomorrow. Of course, tomorrow is April Fools' Day. You've been warned.
