Introducing Emily Collins and Max Rottluff, golf's newest power couple

    January 14, 2016

They might not be household names yet, but Emily Collins and Max Rottluff are already one of golf's top power couples. That is, when you're ranking golf couples on their actual golf skills.

Collins, a 2014 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, is in her second year on the LPGA's Symetra Tour. Rottluff is a senior at Arizona State University, where he was a first-team All-American in 2015 and is currently No. 20 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. In other words, watch out, Gerina and Martin Piller, the only current husband-wife pair representing the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour.

Here are a few pictures of Collins and Rottluff -- photos which could also pass as Abercrombie & Fitch ads:

Emma, who keeps a very active Instagram account, was just featured on the January cover of Avid Golfer Magazine:

And here's a slow-mo video of her swing:

According to the Symetra Tour, the photogenic couple has a cool backstory as well. Apparently, they met five years ago while playing in the same junior tournament in Rottluff's native Germany. After staying in touch, they started dating after Rottluff came to watch Collins play in a Symetra event early in 2015.

The coordination of traveling to their respective events will become even trickier when Rottluff turns pro this spring. At least, he has a girlfriend who can teach him the ropes of life on the road.
