Admittedly, we here at The Loop—with the exception of maybe Shane Ryan—don't keep up with pro tennis too well. Unless, of course, it's something involving the Williams sisters or Naomi Osaka on the women's side or the Big Four on the men's side. You know, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios. That dude is a wild man.
But on Tuesday night, a highlight caught our eye that was too good to not pass along. And it involved two of the sport's best players.
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Carlos Alcaraz squared off in the round of 16 at the Miami Open. And within the first few minutes of this tilt they produced one of the most insane rallies you'll ever see. Have a look:
Yep, that's back-to-back between-the-legs shots. Absolutely wild. Even Gael Monfils had to be impressed (Maybe we know a bit more about tennis then we let on)!
Alcaraz won both the point and the match. Oh, and apparently the Spaniard is only 18 years old. Wow, what a stud. We might need to change that to a Big Five on the men's side.
