The top 50 in FedEx Cup points have reached the second playoff event, the BMW Championship, which is at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis this year. Only Sungjae Im moved into the top 50 last week in Memphis to punch his ticket to this week, which ultimately came at the expense of Keith Mitchell, who dropped to No. 51.

But, as usual, all eyes are on Scottie Scheffler, who won last week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship and happens to be the defending champion of this event, which was at Caves Valley outside Baltimore last year. He and the rest will play for the $20 million purse with $3.6 million going to the champion.

After Scheffler, Matt Fitzpatrick, Cameron Young, Si Woo Kim, Wyndham Clark, Sam Burns, Chris Gotterup, Tommy Fleetwood, Collin Morikawa and Ludvig Aberg round out the top 10 in points. Rory McIlroy only beat three players last week in his first start since the British Open. He’s 13th in points.

Reminder that the top 30 after this week head to East Lake in Atlanta for the Tour Championship, where the winner will be crowned the FedEx Cup champion. Kurt Kitayama (28), Bud Cauley (29) and Rickie Fowler (30) are all on the bubble. Gary Woodland right now is the first man out at No. 31.

One final note—the top six automatic qualifiers for the U.S. Presidents Cup team will be solidified Sunday after the championship is over.

Check back here Sunday after play is complete for updates on the money below.
