Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2026 BMW Championship

The top 50 in FedEx Cup points reached the second playoff event, the BMW Championship, which was at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis. Only Sungjae Im moved into the top 50 last week in Memphis to punch his ticket, which ultimately came at the expense of Keith Mitchell, who dropped to No. 51.

But none of that mattered at the end of the week as it was Wyndham Clark who won, to open up the PGA Tour Player of the Year conversation again. It seemed like it was Scottie Scheffler's after last week's win, but now Clark has three tour wins, including the U.S. Open and the BMW Championship. Could the winner of the Tour Championship next week take home the top honors?

Anyway, Clark won $3.6 million from the overall $20 million purse, topping Patrick Cantlay by three shots and Rory McIlroy by four. Scheffler, who opened with a two-over 72 and battled hand, foot and mouth disease all week, still managed a tie for 12th place. He heads to East Lake at the top of the FedEx Cup standings.
