Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2026 Biltmore Championship Asheville
Alex Slitz
The PGA Tour is back, although it wasn’t gone for long. The fall part of the schedule begins this week at the inaugural Biltmore Championship Asheville, where the field is at the Cliffs at Walnut Cove playing for $5 million with the winner taking home $900,000 in North Carolina.
Top players, of course, are not in the field because they don’t have to be. That leaves World No. 29 Jacob Bridgeman as the top-ranked player in the field and he’s really only here to shake off some rust before he plays in the Presidents Cup next week in Chicago. Jackson Koivun is also in Asheville, joining Bridgeman as the only two American Presidents Cup players participating. Justin Thomas was in the field but withdrew over the weekend. Five from the International Presidents Cup team are playing, starting with Corey Conners (54) and Nico Echavarria (60).
A reminder that this is the start of the FedEx Cup Fall, where players inside the top 100 in FedEx Cup standings after the eight fall events will earn full status for next year. Anyone ending Nos. 51-60 will qualify for the first two signature events next year, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the Genesis Invitational. That guaranteed that some of the bigger, veterans names wanting to secure cards for 2027 would play this week—like Tony Finau (98), Billy Horschel (100) and Lucas Glover (101).
Check back here Sunday after play is complete for updates.
