Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2025 Puerto Rico Open

The PGA Tour calls them additional events, but we know them better as opposite-field tournaments. And this week marked the first of the year at the Puerto Rico Open in Rio Grande, which went up against the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
The field of PGA Tour winners, future stars and newbies were playing for a $4 million overall purse with the winner taking home $720,000 for a victory. That winner? Karl Vilips, a 23-year-old from Australia, by way of Stanford, who landed an apparel deal with Tiger Woods' Sun Day Red a couple weeks ago and just won in only his fourth start on the PGA Tour. He shot a final-round 64 to end the week at 26-under-par 262 total. Denmark's Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen was second, three shots back.
Here’s the rundown of what each player earned who made the cut.
