Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the LPGA’s 2024 Toto Japan Classic

The LPGA reached the final event of its Asia swing, with the Toto Japan Classic being played last week at Seta Golf Course in Shiga. The tournament first started in 1973 and is co-sanctioned with the Japan LPGA.
The overall purse is $2 million with the winner, Rio Takeda, taking home $300,000 for her victory on Sunday. It was Takeda's eighth(!) victory this year on the JLPGA. She shot a final-round 67 and ended at 15-under-par total. (The event was reduced to 54 holes because of a tropical storm that lashed through town and wiped out the third round.)
Takeda was three shots behind American Marina Alex with three holes remaining and played them three under to Alex's even par. The two then battled during the playoff and ultimately it was Takeda who made birdie on the sixth extra hole to triumph. She now has a chance to accept full LPGA status for 2025, which she suggested she will do afterward. Haeran Ryu was third place, a shot behind.
Now it’s back to the United States for the final three events of the season. The Lotte Championship is in Oahu, Hawaii, starting Wednesday, then The Annika and the CME Group Tour Championship close out the year in Florida.
