Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2025 ShopRite LPGA Classic

Maja Stark shocked the golf world last week by sleeping on the 54-hole lead and holding steady Sunday to capture the U.S. Women’s Open at Erin Hills. She was the third Swede to collect the title and the sixth from her country to win a major championship.

Stark, 25, was back at it again and in the field for the ShopRite LPGA Classic in New Jersey, but she missed the cut. It could’ve been just as easy for her to take the week off following a career-changing victory, but she opted to play.

“Feels like it hasn't hit yet,” she said Wednesday at Seaview’s Bay Course in Galloway. “Feels pretty normal. I feel normal. It's just more work."

World No. 1 Nelly Korda, who finished second behind Stark at the U.S. Women’s Open, and World No. 2 Jeeno Thitikul were on hand too for this 54-hole event but eventually it was Jennifer Kupcho who birdied three of the last five holes to shoot 66 and top Ilhee Lee by one shot. She took home the $262,500 winning prize from the overall $1.75 million purse. It was her fourth LPGA title.

Kupcho's second-round 64 moved her into position for the final round and she opened with birdies on three of the first five holes. Needing a charge to capture the crown, she closed in championship fashing, including birdie on the last. Lee opened with 63, then followed with consecutive rounds of 68. Sei Young Kim, who had an ace on the 17th hole in the final round, was third place. Ayaka Furue was fourth. Korda tied for 15th place.

Up next for the tour is the Meijer Classic in Michigan followed by the KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Fields Ranch East in Frisco, Texas.
