Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2024 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship

Amy Yang has been a professional for 18 years. Her first major victory was worth the wait, as the 34-year-old blew away the field in the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship to win by three shots Sunday at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash.

It was her sixth career LPGA victory, 11 years after her first in 2013. She earned $1.56 million from the $10.4 million overall purse. Jin Young Ko, Lilia Vu and Miyu Yamashita all tied for second place.

A three-shot victory doesn’t seem like a runaway, of course, but Yang had this one in hand, leading by as many as six shots with three holes remaining. She made bogey on the 16th hole and then hit it in the water on the par-3 17th hole to make double bogey. She parred the 72nd hole to shoot a final-round 72 and end the week at seven-under-par 281 total.

World No. 1 Nelly Korda opened with 69 to jump into the mix, then fell apart in Round 2 to shoot 81, that included nine bogeys and a double bogey. She easily missed the cut, her third missed cut in the last three events.
