Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic

The inaugural Myrtle Beach Classic produced a first-time PGA Tour winner.

Chris Gotterup blitzed the field to shoot 22-under-par total at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club to win his first tour title in just his 27th start. The 24-year-old shot 66-64-65-67 and collected $720,000 from the $4 million overall purse. He topped Alistair Docherty and Davis Thompson by six shots.

On Sunday, to start the final round, Gotterup opened with consecutive bogeys but then played the next three holes in four under par. He also birdied four of his final six holes to shoot 67 and cruise tot the victory.

The highest-ranked player in the field, Ryan Fox (ranked No. 61), tied for fourth place at 15 under par. Erik van Rooyen is ranked No. 66 and was the highest-ranked player in the field in the FedEx Cup (41st). He tied for fouth place too.

Other PGA Tour winners in the field were Daniel Berger, Joel Dahmen, Matt Wallace, Nico Echavarria, J.J. Spaun and Kevin Kisner, a South Carolina native.
