Here's the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2026 LPGA Maybank Championship

In 2025, Japan’s Miyu Yamashita won the Maybank Championship in a playoff with a four-round total of 18-under 270. This year, the 25-year-old was at 18 under through 54 holes at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club in Malaysia. By the end of the day Sunday she had shot 68 to get to 22-under total, which was good to defend her title and earn a two-shot victory over Yan Liu.

Yamashita’s ball-striking was impressive in her title defense. During Saturday’s third round, she hit 13 of 14 fairways and 15 of 18 greens as she posted four straight in the 60s. This marks her fifth LPGA victory, third this year and fifth in the last 15 months. That includes the Women's British Open last year.

For her victory in Malaysia she earned $450,000 from the overall $3 million purse.

The tour heads to Japan next week then will take a week off before ending its season with two weeks in Florida.
