Close calls finally morphed into a victory for Sam Burns on Sunday at the Valspar Championship. The former college player of the year at LSU shot a final-round three-under 68 on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort to claim his first PGA Tour title, beating Keegan Bradley by three strokes.

During the 2020-21 tour season, the 24-year-old Burns either held the outright lead or a share of it at the end of eight different rounds, two more than any other golfer. That included leading after 36 holes four times, also the best on tour this season. But until this week, he was never a leader on Sunday.

Conversely, Bradley was hoping his own troubles holding on to leads. Unfortunately, the 34-year-old is now 0-for-8 when leading a tournament after the first round and 0-for-3 when leading/sharing the lead after 54 holes.

With the win, Burns earned a prize money payout of $1.242 million from an overall purse of $6.9 million. Here are the prize money payouts for every golfer who made the cut this week at Innisbrook Resort.
