There were any number of reasons why Robert Streb wanted to hang on to his three-stroke 54-hole lead and win on Sunday afternoon at the RSM Classic. First and foremost, it had been six years since the Oklahoma native had been victorious on the PGA Tour, his one other win coming at Sea Island in 2014. Second, ending the winless drought and claiming the assortment of spoils that go with that (PGA Tour card through 2023, invites to the Masters, PGA Championship, Players and Sentry Tournament of Champions, etc.) changes the trajectory of the 33-year-old’s career.

Less obvious to anyone except perhaps Streb himself, however, was the financial milestone he achieved with the title. By claiming the $1,188,000 first prize on Sea Island after shooting a final-round 68 and beating Kevin Kisner in a playoff, Streb passed $10 million in career earnings. Entering the week, Streb had won $9,965,729 in 213 career tour, so all he actually needed to become an eight-figure tour earner was a top-30 finish. His total earnings now are $11,153,729.

As previously mentioned, the winner earns a prize money payout of $1.188 million from an overall purse of $6.6 million. Here’s the prize money payout for every golfer who made the cut at Sea Island.
