Golf Digest Podcast: Holly Sonders on her first year at FOX, and what to expect in 2016
One of the hottest topics this year was how FOX did during its first run at the U.S. Open. While opinions varied across the board, we wanted to get a first-hand perspective on what worked — and where the network sees itself improving next year.
What better voice to hear from than Holly Sonders, who spent 2015 both covering USGA events and several NFL football games. We had a chance to ask her about her transition from Golf Channel to FOX, how she views covering football versus golf, and where she sees FOX headed with upcoming USGA tournaments.
While Holly pioneered our Golf Digest Fitness issue in May of 2013, she recently did another photo shoot with one of our rivalsrivals competitors, and she shares some of her tips on how she stays fit on the road. We caught up with her before the end of 2015 to see what big plans she and FOX have for golf in 2016.
