Though raingear might come to mind primarily when you think of Galvin Green (and you’re not wrong, by the way), the Swedish company is pushing its boundaries in outerwear with two new collections launching this week that are high tech, all-weather and extremely stylish. The first is the Edge, a contemporary and stylish twist on Galvin Green classics and the Ventil8 Plus, designed for warm weather golf.

From insulating camo to striking geo-prints, the Edge is unlike other offerings from Galvin Green. It is one of two capsule collections the company is launching before the end of the year. In the first capsule, expect modern prints, bold technical and stylish hybrids, and as always, time-tested performance wear.

The E-INSULA Wave is a high-fashion half-zip pullover that features a bold contrasting design through the shoulders and arms. The primarily black jacket is accented with white details and is an insulated design to be worn as an intermediate layer in cold-weather golf.

For more fashion-forward golfers, the E-LLUSION Jacket is one that will catch your eye. At face value, the geometric pattern jumps off the jacket, but it is dark enough for everyday wear. As to be expected, the technical workings of this jacket are as cool as the design looks. It is incredibly lightweight with adjustable cuffs and hems to find the perfect fit. The sleeves are cut to allow an unimpeded golf swing, and the lightly padded collar is warm and comfortable.

The line also has a few casual pieces that can easily be worn off the course but have the technical elements that are also great for golf. The E-GOLF Base is a Letterman-esque jacket. The base is gray and the black sleeves are accented by a gray camo strip. The two-way opening—full-zip and button-down—keep the styling consistent without sacrificing warmth or performance. The windproof jacket is part of the versatile Interface-1 collection, which the brand says is made for 95 out of 100 rounds you will play.

Matching that gray-camo theme is the E-CAMO Bandana, another leading piece out of the Edge Collection. The bandana is way more stylish than the typical neck warmer, and the INSULA technology will keep you warm in colder conditions. If camo is your thing, don’t miss the E-CAMO Belt or E-THE RED Shirt, which is designed for warmer conditions and also a part of the new Ventil8 Collection, also launching this week.

The new Ventil8 Plus men’s and women’s lines are designed for the days you won’t be needing a rain jacket. The collection is focused on high-performance wear for equally high temperatures. Every piece is lightweight and breathable, with impressive pops of color for a fun combination of technical golf apparel and fashion. The fabrics are designed to regulate your body temperature and wick away heat and sweat off the skin twice as fast as a traditional polyester golf shirt.

The men’s Marty golf shirt comes in eight different solids, one for every mood. The snap button closure allows for an easy fit and the contrasting collar is extra stylish.

On the ladies' side, the one-of-a-kind Miriam Jumpsuit is ultra-comfortable without looking too much like a one piece. It has a flattering fit that is easily belt-able or layered and won’t get caught up in your swing. You won’t want to change out of it after 18 holes—it feels that great on.
