Former PGA Tour pro details cooking disaster he calls his 'worst double bogey in 34 years of marriage'

First things first, we should mention that photo is NOT the former PGA Tour pro we're talking about. That's just a Getty Image that pops up when you search for "cooking disasters" and it worked much better than anything involving setting the kitchen on fire.
Because, at least, Charlie Rymer didn't do that in his home last night. But he did make a brutal mistake that wound up causing him to go to bed hungry as punishment.
In fact, the 57-year-old Golf Channel analyst called the cooking calamity his "worst double bogey in 34 years of marriage." OK, we'll let Charlie take it away here:
Woof, that's a rough one. Not only was Charlie not able to salvage the meal, but it sounds like he also went through a lot of powdered sugar. Not to mention wasting a lot of egg noodles. Which are awesome.
But on the bright side, Charlie's kitchen mishap didn't end up with him going to the hospital and needing surgery like Scottie Scheffler (There's just something about golfers and pasta not mixing) last Christmas. So, it could have been a lot worse.
In any event, we don't expect Charlie moving from Golf Channel to the Food Network anytime soon.
