Donald Trump thinks Pinehurst No. 2 looks "horrible" on TV
In between responding to tweets urging him to run for president in 2016, Donald Trump offered his take on the new-look Pinehurst No. 2 over the weekend.
Pinehurst is sporting a more rustic look because of a recent renovation that returned the course's rough to its natural state. That, combined with the USGA drying-out the course for the U.S. Open, has left Pinehurst looking brown in spots -- something Trump isn't a fan of, apparently. After retweeting one of his followers who said the course looked like a "local community golf course," Trump criticized the course because it looked "horrible" on television.
