Dodgers prospect hits the craziest home run you've ever seen

July 26, 2017

It is high! It is far! It is. . . off someone's head and gone?!

That's what happened in a Pacific Coast League minor league baseball game on Tuesday night between the Oklahoma Dodgers and the Reno Aces. Dodgers prospect Alex Verdugo hit a long fly ball to right field that caromed off the noggin of Zach Borenstein for the craziest home run you'll ever see. Check it out:

Passan's Jose Canseco mention refers to him being part of a similar blooper in 1993 when he was a member of the Texas Rangers.

Canseco created a home run with his head, but he was at least on the warning track when it happened. Borenstein, on the other hand, was a good 20 feet away from the fence.

We're guessing whoever was pitching wasn't too pleased with his outfielder's blooper. And that Borenstein spent his next trip to the dugout with an icepack on his head.
