This Wednesday's "Creator Classic," featuring a field of 16 of the top content creators in golf, has already caused quite the stir social media. As is tradition.

In a tweet previewing the event, popular Twitter/X account NUCLR GOLF listed out the entire field and asked a following of 175,000+ "Who will win this week's Creator Classic?" If you know anything about Twitter/X, that's like dumping a rather large amount of gasoline on a rather large fire.

The top reply to that tweet came from former PGA Tour winner Wesley Bryan, who is among the 16 players in the field. That has understandably rubbed some the wrong way, as Bryan, to repeat, is a former tour winner. Of course, he and his brother George Bryan IV, who is also in the field, have been in the content game for about as long as anybody, and thus believe they have a right to be there as much as anybody. Some folks disagreed in the comments, which had Wesley's antennas up:

Of course, it's only a handful of people—and by people we mean internet trolls—who are "mad" as Bryan says. He could have simply ignored them and gone about his business. By replying this way, he invited more people to hate, among them fellow former one-time tour winner Chris Couch, who dropped out of the clouds and said that Bryan should be embarrassed if he doesn't win. And that, folks, is how a Twitter War breaks out:

Bryan quickly sniped back, and then Couch doubled down:

    And then George chimed in:

There ya have it. Last week, it was The Country Club Snob saga. This week, Couch v. Bryan (s). Golf Twitter continues to bat 1.000 in providing drama you didn't ask for.
