Bryson DeChambeau says goodbye to LIV 1.0 with bittersweet five-word message

Bryson DeChambeau's golf future—like all LIV players right now—remains a bit of a mystery. And the two-time U.S. Open champ signed off from LIV 1.0 with a bittersweet five-word message.
DeChambeau finished T-3 behind winner Michael La Sasso in the LIV Indianapolis event on Sunday. Following the cancelation of the league's season-ending team championship in Michigan next week, the Indianapolis event became the final LIV event of 2026, and, possibly, ever.
Earlier this year, the Saudia Arabia PIF pulled funding from the league it founded and dumped billions of dollars into. LIV CEO Scott O'Neil has maintained the league—or some version of it—will continue into 2027 and beyond thanks to private investment, but that remains to be seen.
In the meantime, DeChambeau took to Instagram to wrap up his four-plus years on LIV with a collection of his winning photos and the following caption: "It was a good run."
DeChambeau won five LIV titles with his most notable victory coming at The Greenbrier in 2023 when he shot a final-round 58. The nine-time PGA Tour winner and YouTube Golf star turns 33 next month.
