Brooks Koepka’s bid to make the postseason is very much in doubt.

On Tuesday Koepka withdrew from this week’s Rocket Classic field. No reason was given for the decision.

In his season back on the PGA Tour following a four-year stint at LIV Golf, Koepka’s results have been mixed. He started the campaign strong with three finishes of T-18 or better in March and turned in a T-12 at the Masters. Since Augusta, however, Koepka has struggled, posting just two top 20s in his last eight starts. That included a WD at the RBC Canadian Open after Koepka dealt with a mysterious injury with his hand.

He missed the cut at his next two starts at the U.S. Open and Scottish Open, although made the weekend at the Open Championship ultimately finishing T-28.

Entering this week Koepka ranked 84th in the FedEx Cup, with only the top 70 advancing to the playoffs. He would need a very high finish at next week’s regular-season finale at the Wyndham Championship to earn a trip to the FedEx St. Jude.

As part of the Returning Member program, Koepka is eligible to play in the postseason should he make it, but has forfeited any FedEx bonus money earned.
