AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds 2023: Jordan Spieth alone at the top

1456280276

Andy Lyons

Death, taxes and Jordan Spieth being among the betting favorites at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

This year, though, Spieth is THE betting favorite, a byproduct of his sparkling history in the event and the fact the field is as weak as it has ever been, Pebble becoming one of the latest casualties of this new "elevated events" golf world. Spieth, who finished runner-up in this event last year, is 9-1 to win outright on the DraftKings Sportsbook.

After that, it's slim pickings when it comes to stars, with U.S. Open champ Matt Fitzpatrick (10-1) and Viktor Hovland (11-1) serving as the other "big names" in this field. Defending champion Tom Hoge is 20-1, while Maverick McNealy, a California native who has two top-fives in four trips here, is 22-1.

Coming off a T-18 at Torrey Pines, Justin Rose is at 30-1. Rose was in prime position to win the U.S. Open on this course in 2019, but stumbled on Sunday, ultimately finishing in a tie for third. Fellow major winner Webb Simpson, who has fallen to 146th in the Official World Golf Ranking, is 80-1.
