Adam Sandler drops a classic, cocky line to Bryson DeChambeau before draining an eagle putt
Happy Gilmore, arguably the greatest golfer of the 1990s, finally returned to the big screen with the long-awaited release of "Happy Gilmore 2." But how is Adam Sandler as a golfer? Well, another weekend release shows the comedic actor has some serious game on the course.
Sandler is the latest to appear on Bryson DeChambeau's popular "Breaking 50" YouTube series. And while we won't spoil what happened between these two "Happy Gilmore 2" co-stars (who filmed the video at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in New Jersey, site of the movie's golf scenes), we will tell you that Sandler hits a pretty epic shot on the final hole. One that even Happy himself would have been proud of.
Before that, however, this clip caught our attention. With the two-man scramble team facing an eagle putt, Sandler gets cocky, telling the two-time U.S. Open champ, "Stay in the cart, I got this sh--." And you know what? He knew what he was talking about.
That was like a scene out of a movie! Very impressive by the Sandman.
Also impressive? The numbers DeChambeau's latest video is doing, having eclipsed more than three million views in its first 24 hours. Netflix might want to think about signing Bryson next.
