2018 Zurich Classic tee times, viewer's guide

The PGA Tour heads to New Orleans this week for the Zurich Classic, which has become one of the schedule's more-intriguing events thanks to its new team format. Last year's edition provided some fireworks at TPC Louisiana, ending in a Monday playoff after Kevin Kisner holed a chip shot from the fairway at the 72nd hole to get he and teammate Scott Brown into the playoff with eventual winners Jonas Blixt and Cameron Smith.
Because of the tournament's innovation, it nows boasts the strongest field the Zurich has ever had, including 17 of the top 30 players in the world, many of whom have teamed up together. Tournament favorites include Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson, Justin Thomas and Bud Cauley, and Jordan Spieth and Ryan Palmer.
This year's format will differ slightly from 2017, with best ball being played Thursday and Saturday and alternate shot on Friday and Sunday. While the event's winners will each receive a PGA Tour win, two-year tour exemption, and exemptions into the Players Championship and PGA Championship, they do not receive any world ranking points or an invite to the 2019 Masters.
TV Coverage
The Golf Channel will carry live coverage on Thursday and Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. CBS will take over on the weekend beginning at 3 p.m.
