and that includes a little introductory hazing. The U.S. Presidents Cup team doesn't demand anything too embarrassing—unless a guy can't carry a tune. On Monday night, USA newcomers Jacob Bridgeman, Chris Gotterup and Jackson Koivun had to stand before a room of 50 people, including their teammates and captains, and sing. At least they got to pick the song rather than one they didn't know. The rule was that no one could video the exhibitions with their phones.

Bridgeman went with Lee Greenwood's “God Bless the USA,” which seemed appropriate. Gotterup crooned a Creed song, "One Last Breath." Lyrics include, "maybe six feet ain't so far down." Hmmmm. Then Koivun offered his rendition of "Heartless," by Kanye West, which fits right in with America's attitude in this event over the years.

Said Bridgeman, “I probably made it a minute and a half and Sneds [captain Brandt Snedeker] came up and said, 'That's good enough.'" Maybe that meant it was kind of good. Maybe not. "That was nerve-racking but hilarious," Bridgeman added.
