The ongoing debate about “when is someone considered a good golfer” is a particularly deep social media rabbit hole.

By one measure, it’s a plus-2 handicap. Or being able to shoot even par from 7,000 yards (as Notah Begay defined below). But what if it’s not something you can quantify and more something you can sense?
